FROM BOSTON, MA

Take I-90 West (Mass Pike) to Exit 11 for State Route 122 toward Millbury/Worcester. (Caution, do not take 11A.) Drive 0.4 miles, then turn left at Grafton Road, MA-122N. Drive 3.3 miles, then at the traffic circle, take the 3 rd exit onto Grafton Street, 122N. Drive 0.4 miles, then take a slight right to merge onto I-290 East. Drive 0.8 miles, then take exit 17 for MA-9W. Drive 0.2 miles then turn left at Belmont Street/MA-9W. Drive 1.1 miles then continue straight onto Highland Street. Drive 0.4 miles, then at the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto Pleasant Street. Drive 1.3 miles. 1030 Pleasant Street will be on the left.

For those arriving at Union Station in Worcester (the train station for the “T” or commuter line to/from Boston and Amtrak), you can either walk the 400 meters from Union Station to the Franklin Street side of City Hall or take the 5, 15, or 16 Inbound bus from Union Station to City Hall.  From Franklin Street, take the 2 bus Outbound toward Tatnuck Square which departs weekdays at fifteen minutes before and after the hour from 5:45 a.m. to 8:15 p.m..  On Saturdays, the 2 bus Outbound departs Franklin Street at 20 minutes past the hour from 11:20 a.m. to 4:20 p.m.  For the Sunday bus schedule, which is sporadic and does not begin until 11:30 a.m., please consult the Worcester Regional Transit Authority website at http://www.therta.com/schedule_map.html.  You’ll exit the bus at the intersection of Pleasant Street and Wrentham Rd, which is just past the Temple located at 1030 Pleasant Street.  (Begin to look for the Temple on the left hand side after you pass the intersection of Pleasant Street and May Street.  You’ll pass the Temple on the left hand side of Pleasant Street just before the intersection with Wrentham Rd, noticeable by the prayer flags flying near the street.  If you reach the major intersection of Pleasant Street and Mill Street, you’ve traveled about 400 meters too far, so get off there and make a short walk back in the direction from which you came.)

For those returning to Union Station in Worcester, the 2 bus Inbound can be boarded on Pleasant Street just west of the Temple entrance.  On weekdays, it departs Tatnuck Square, which is about 800 meters west of the Temple, at five minutes and 35 minutes past the hour from 6:05 a.m. until 8:35 p.m.  On Saturdays, the 2 bus Inbound departs Tatnuck Square at 40 minutes past the hour from 11:40 a.m. to 4:40 p.m..  On Sundays, the 2 bus Inbound departs Tatnuck Square at 11:50 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 1:40 p.m., 2:35 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:25 p.m., 5:20 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.  Exit the bus at the City Hall stop. You may take any 5, 15, or 16 Outbound bus to Union Station or walk the 400 meters from City Hall to Union Station.
