2009 Precept Study Groups

Time: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
David and Melissa will be offering study groups focusing on the Bodhisattva precepts on the above Sundays before the Sunday evening sittings at 7: 30 p.m.
Anyone is welcome to attend, whether or not you are thinking about taking the precepts.

Fees/Dana

There is no charge for Worcester Zen weekly and Saturday practice periods or for individual meetings.  However, donations (dana) of any amount are gratefully accepted. 

 

The Teachers


David Dayan Rynick and Rev. Melissa Keido Myozen Blacker

David Dayan Rynick, Sensei and Rev. Melissa Myozen Blacker, Sensei, who have been practicing Zen since 1981, guide the Worcester Zen Community. David is a student of and has received Dharma Transmission from Zen Master George Bomun Bowman. Melissa is a Soto Zen priest, and is a student of and has received Dharma Transmission from Rev. James Myoun Ford, Roshi. David, Melissa and James are the guiding teachers of Boundless Way Zen

Individual meetings with Melissa or David may be requested at any time, and are offered regularly during some weekly and all Saturday practice periods, and at sesshin.
